Shipping Policy
We ship healthy live feeder insects from Utah with careful packing, weather-aware handling, and live arrival in mind.
Where We Ship
Wasatch Feeder Insects currently ships to approved states in the western United States. At checkout, available shipping options will appear based on your delivery address.
If shipping is not available to your state or ZIP code, we are not currently servicing that area online.
Live Insect Shipping Schedule
We ship live feeder orders Monday through Thursday. Orders placed by 4:00 AM MST are eligible for same-day shipping, depending on feeder availability, weather conditions, carrier timing, and live arrival risk.
We recommend ordering early in the week whenever possible to help reduce weekend delay risk.
Shipping Options
Available shipping options may include:
- Standard Live Shipping — Estimated transit time may vary by destination.
- Express Live Shipping — Recommended during warmer, colder, or higher-risk shipping conditions.
- Free Standard Live Shipping — Available on qualifying orders when shown at checkout.
Delivery estimates are not guaranteed and may be affected by carrier delays, weather, holidays, or other conditions outside our control.
Weather Holds
To protect the health of live insects, we may delay shipment during extreme heat, extreme cold, severe weather, holidays, or carrier-delay risk. If we believe a shipment may be unsafe, we may hold the order until conditions improve.
Shipping Confirmation & Tracking
You will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking information once your order has been fulfilled.
Customer Delivery Responsibility
Live insects must be brought inside promptly after delivery. Please monitor your tracking information and make arrangements so your package is not left outside in heat, cold, direct sun, rain, snow, or unsafe conditions.
Packages left outside for an extended period may not qualify for live arrival support.
Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses
Customers are responsible for entering a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout. Wasatch Feeder Insects is not responsible for delays or live arrival issues caused by incorrect addresses, missing apartment or unit numbers, failed delivery attempts, or packages forwarded to another address.
PO Boxes
We recommend using a physical street address for live feeder shipments. PO box delivery may not be available or may not qualify for live arrival support depending on the carrier, destination, and shipping conditions.
Live Arrival Support
If there is an issue with your live feeder shipment, please contact us within 2 hours of delivery with your order number, clear photos of the package and insects, and a brief description of the issue.
Eligible live arrival claims may be resolved with a replacement, store credit, or refund at our discretion.
Local Pickup or Local Delivery
Local pickup or local delivery may be offered only when available at checkout. If these options are not shown, they are not currently available for your order.
